Just a normal Day

-writen by Rosdlim Lightbringer, Bard of the Guild

There Rosdlim was, cutting through the forces of evil in the catacombs under the rogue's monastery. To his left, Kynnzak was hacking a Tainted into bite-sized pieces for the rats, and to his left Najj was hurling fireball's at anything that moved, including the others. Rosdlim ducked under a stray fireball that violently exploded against the wall behind him, taking a genorous portion of the wall with it. Rounding a corner, Rosdlim saw something that almost made him stumble over a dead carver - just down the hallway was a gem shrine. It stopped him dead in his tracks.
Najj must have saw it to because suddently they were both running as fast as they could, plate mail armor rattling, and Najj leaving behind her a trail of flame, both trying to reach the shrine first. Rosdlim leaped and nicked the hand of the angel on the shrine. It glowed brightly for a second, and Rosdlim could only watch as it took his flawed skull out of his pack, repair the cracks and deformities, and throw it against the wall behind it. Rosdlim caught it before it hit the ground.
Later on that day, everyone else had left the Rogue's camp except for Rosdlim and Lykopis. Looking through his packs, trying to find room to store a ring he had just found, he found something that he had been saving for weeks, Wirt's leg.
Having heard tales that he had only thought were to scare small children, Rosdlim put both the leg, and a tome of town portal into his horadric cube. The cube hummed as it did it's work and slowly a blood red portal, that looked like it went into the farthest depths of hell, opened before him. Rosdlim stepped in.
Before he got his other foot through the portal he died, but through some magical process he did not understand, appeared in the
rogue camp, before the portal. He rushed through the portal in rage and fury at what the murderous bovines did to him, and now knew this was no myth to scare small children. It was a myth to scare battle hardened generals into living a life of peace and love.
Rosdim was dead. He remembered dying, but here he was alive again. He rushed towards the portal.
He was dead. After this happening about five times, Rosdlim knew another approach was in order. He reached into his soul, prayed to the light, and a strange yellow aura encircled him. He rushed into the portal. He died, but his thorns killed the cows that attacked him. Finnaly clearing the portal opening of Hell Bovines, Rosdlim picked up his armor from his dead corpse (which he did not understand, and probably never would) and started cutting through the ranks of hell, stopping occasionally to pick up a trinket from the ground. While being chased by a large group of angry bovines, something happened. The world stopped, then his eyes saw everything fade to black - and two words summoned from the living Baal himself slowly appeared. After reading the words, Rosdlim promptly fainted onto the black ground. It read - CONNECTION INTERUPTED.
